Terms of Service
Welcome to Dealer's Dice Co. ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of dealersdiceco.com and any purchase you make from us. By browsing or buying, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. About us
Dealer's Dice Co. is a small dice shop selling hand-checked polyhedral dice sets to tabletop role-playing game players. Contact: drew@dealersdiceco.com.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method.
3. Orders, pricing, and payment
- All prices are in U.S. dollars and are shown on each product page. Prices may change without notice, but the price at the time you place an order is the price you pay.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. By checking out, you also agree to Stripe's terms and privacy policy. We do not see or store your full payment card number.
- We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order — for example, if an item is mispriced due to an error, a product is out of stock, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after payment, we'll issue a full refund.
- Applicable sales tax, where required, will be added at checkout.
4. Shipping
- We currently ship within the United States only.
- Orders of $30 or more ship free via standard shipping. Orders under $30 have a flat $6 shipping fee.
- Standard delivery takes approximately 5–10 business days after the order ships. These are estimates — carriers sometimes take longer, and we're not responsible for carrier delays.
- Risk of loss passes to you once we hand the package off to the carrier. If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, email us and we'll help sort it out.
5. Returns, exchanges, and damaged items
- If your dice arrive defective or damaged, or if you received the wrong item, email drew@dealersdiceco.com within 30 days of delivery. We'll replace the set or refund you.
- Because dice are handled and tested, we generally don't accept returns of sets that aren't defective. If something's off, reach out and we'll do our best to make it right.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically post within 5–10 business days.
6. Product descriptions, images, and availability
We try to represent each dice set accurately, but resin colors, swirl patterns, and glitter distribution vary slightly from set to set — that's part of the nature of handmade and cast dice. Monitors also render colors differently. We do not guarantee that any image is an exact match to what you receive. Availability and inventory counts are subject to change.
7. Promotional codes and discounts
Promo codes are limited to one use per order unless stated otherwise, cannot be combined with other offers, have no cash value, and may be canceled or modified at our discretion. If a code is used fraudulently or abusively, we may cancel the associated order.
8. Intellectual property
The Dealer's Dice Co. name, logo, site design, text, photography, and other content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the site without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use (e.g., sharing a product link).
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose or to violate anyone else's rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, our admin tools, or our infrastructure.
- Scrape, data-mine, or reverse-engineer the site beyond what's allowed by
robots.txt. - Interfere with or disrupt the site, our servers, or other users.
- Place fraudulent orders or use stolen payment information.
10. Newsletter and marketing emails
If you sign up for our newsletter, you'll get occasional emails about new releases, deals, and shop news. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link or emailing us.
11. Third-party links and services
The site may link to third-party sites or services (for example, payment via Stripe). We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and our products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dealer's Dice Co. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for gross negligence, fraud, or consumer-protection rights you have under your state's laws).
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dealer's Dice Co. from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Dealer's Dice Co. is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in full effect.
